The baton has been passed!
WinShape Foundation & Global Outreach Group had a productive & delightful Friday with Chris Witt and the WinShape International Camp team. Joining the ZOOM meeting were other Christian camp leaders from around the world. We valued their input & rich fellowship. Thank you, Priya, Arun Kumar, Hezron Obado, Charles mwai, Muhia Karianjahi. We wish time had allowed us to zoom with every international leader.

Thank you so much to GOG Chairman, Danny Price, and his wife, Lori, for facilitating our meetings & graciously hosting. Also, thank you, Susan Keiffer, for arranging our kick-off meeting at Sky Ranch.

Join us in giving thanks to God; truly great is His faithfulness!

Global Outreach Group is in the process of transitioning to WinShape Foundation Camps. Had a really productive morning with Chris Witt and his very capable team! We were also joined via zoom with these outstanding global Christian camping leaders: Robert Bruneau (Latin America), Norman Doney (UK), Ross Bay (NZ). Looking forward to what God is going to do next!

“LIFT UP YOUR EYES ON HIGH AND SEE WHO HAS CREATED THESE STARS.” Is.40:26
Notice the subtle, crucial word in that statement: it’s not about stars, it’s about the One Who created and put them there in the first place. When we gaze into the night sky, may we first of all “see” our magnificent, generous Creator. He gave us the stars and the eyes to enjoy them; He gave us Himself, and His eternal life that we might enjoy Him forever.

To all my friends here at home, and to each of you far away: as we celebrate our Thanksgiving Day over here, I want you to know how thankful I am for you, our friends around the world, and the rich relationship we share. (If you're wondering if you're on that thankfulness list, the answer is "Yes you are!"). 1 Thessalonians 5:18 reminds of the sovereignty of our faithful God: "In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus". We can either let our temporal situation inform our view of God, or we can allow His Word (the Bible) to inform us. Let's smile on this THANKSGIVING DAY, convinced that our God is both HOLY and GOOD. Now isn't that something fine!

Because of the severe pandemic in India, travel is restricted there. Next month is the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Indian Christian Camping Association. There will be a virtual conference and I am looking forward to connecting with these excellent Christian leaders. Thank you for praying for them as they continue on in difficult circumstances. And, I would appreciate your prayers that I can effectively minister to them and encourage them in the Lord.

I look forward to presenting virtually at CCI India’s new initiative. They are partnering with a Christian college and have met the criteria necessary to grant academic credit to camp directors who complete the course. This is a milestone achievement which further validates the powerful ministry of Christian camping!

In this new year we are trusting God to re-open doors for “Training Christian Camping Leaders Worldwide.” That’s our mission. It’s what makes us come alive. It’s who we are. For now we're using Facebook, Messenger, email, ZOOM, and old-fashioned phone calls to remain connected. Even in the pandemic, we are as active as we can be given the travel and gathering restrictions. But our God is hindered by NONE of these things. His Holy Spirit is still drawing souls to Himself. Trained camping leaders are creatively reaching youth and families. And our wonderful, faithful supporters are staying with us. Thank you for praying, giving, and caring. Our prayers are for you as well. You’re the best!
