Helping the local community one family at a time. All donations given back to Van Zandt County area. A recruitment process began.

Colfax Community Women began in the year 1998 with only a handful of women who met on a monthly basis to share their faith and friendship. Once the women heard of the needs in the around their surrounding communities, plans were set into action to help find ways to raise money in order to assist those in times of hardship. This handful of women realized that in order to aid those in need the grou

p would require more women. In time more women joined who shared the desire to make an impact on people's lives. This group has become a diverse mixture of women from various locations, ages and faiths. Today, we as women, have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those that surround us. We not only extend our time and our abilities to raise money, but we also recognize the need to help one another. Colfax Community Women has been successful in making an impact in and around our local communities and we have extended our organization's commitment to a global level. Officers for 2017:
