Training Tuesday — have you taken the NEW Safeguarding Youth Training yet?

Make sure you've taken it before Sunday, May 31, 2026, as that is when Youth Protection Training EXPIRES!

Youth Protection Training (YPT) has been replaced by the new Safeguarding Youth Training. This training is required for all Scouting America registered volunteers and is a joining requirement.

Scouting America takes great pride in the quality of our adult leadership. Being a leader in Scouting America is a privilege, not a right. The quality of the program and the safety of our youth members call for high-quality adult leaders.

⚠️Important: Scout Renewal Time!

It’s that time of year again! Parents, please be on the lookout for the renewal email for your Scout(s). This year, parents can renew their Scouts directly through the my.scouting.org.

Leaders, please also check your inbox for your renewal information.

Reminder: Most Scout renewals need to be completed before the end of December to ensure your Scout stays active in the program.
