The Van Buren Chamber of Commerce has proudly served the community for more than 60 years. We are honored to recognize Melanie Allen as the November 2026 Amazing Ambassador!

Melanie Allen is a lifelong River Valley resident who loves her community and being involved in making it a better place. She serves as the Executive Director of CASA of Crawford County, where she is passionate about helping children who have experienced abuse or neglect. She is also a member of the Van Buren Rotary and the Women’s League of Van Buren, staying connected to others who share her heart for serving the community.
Outside of work, Melanie loves spending time with her husband, Chris, and their daughter, Charlotte. Some of her favorite moments are spent camping, sitting around a campfire, exploring new places, or simply enjoying time together as a family. Her faith is an important part of her life, and she loves seeing God’s beauty in the world around her. At the end of the day, Melanie is all about family, faith, helping others, and making memories along the way.

Thank you Melanie for being an Amazing Ambassador, and for your passion and dedication in the Chamber and our community.
