Good morning Van Alstyne! We were super excited to see a lot of you at our informational event at Partin last night!

Last evening, our 4th grade Webelos Scouts did a bit of community service while working on their Aware and Care adventure! They helped out Meadowbrook Care Center by cleaning out an old garden, adding new soil, and planting some beautiful new flowers! They also learned a bit about what the center does and how they help take care of their residents!

Last weekend, Pack 6 spent two nights camping at the historical Civil War and Chickasaw Nation Fort Wash*ta, Oklahoma. We learned about some of the history of the fort and local wildlife, did some hiking, played some games, and had a lot of fun!

You likely saw your Partin or Sanford child bring home a flyer; if you’re interested in learning more about Cub Scouts, please join us tomorrow, September 7th, at 7pm in the Partin Elementary cafeteria! We’ll have all sorts of great information about the program, as well as local Cub Scout leaders on hand to answer any questions. You can even join on the spot, if you like!
