For members of the IBEW family who would like to gather to remember and honor former Business Manager Jack McNally, funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in El Dorado Hills. A reception will follow.

Jack’s family has requested that those wishing to honor his memory consider making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in lieu of flowers.

Our thoughts remain with Jack’s wife, Eve, and the entire McNally family as we remember his extraordinary life and legacy of service to IBEW 1245.

IBEW 1245 is mourning the passing of former Business Manager Jack McNally, a larger-than-life labor leader who dedicated more than 65 years to the IBEW and the fight for working people.

Jack was a fierce advocate for union members. During his 21 years as Business Manager, he led Local 1245 through some of its toughest battles, protecting thousands of jobs, strengthening workplace safety and helping build the union we know today.

His impact on IBEW 1245 and the broader labor movement will be felt for generations.

Our deepest condolences go out to his wife, Eve, and the entire McNally family.

Rest in peace, Brother Jack. Your legacy lives on.

Nearly 6,000 union tradeswomen and allies came together for the Tradeswomen Build Nations Conference — celebrating sisterhood, solidarity and the growing strength of women in the trades.

One of our IBEW 1245 brothers needs our help.

Antonio Maldonado Mendoza had just started his first job as a groundman in Reno, taking the first step toward his dream of becoming a Journeyman Lineman.

On October 3, Antonio was involved in a serious accident while traveling home to visit family. He suffered a critical head injury and remains hospitalized, fighting for his life.

His family has started a GoFundMe to help with medical bills and living expenses during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, can help ease the financial burden so his family can focus on his recovery.

Our thoughts are with Antonio and his loved ones. We're all pulling for him and hope to see him recover soon and pursuing his dream of becoming a Journeyman Lineman.

IBEW 1245 Organizing Stewards don’t just talk about getting involved — they show up.

They knock on doors. Make calls. Attend hearings. Stand up for union jobs. And give their own time to the fights that matter to 1245 members and their families.

Last month, Organizing Stewards from across the union came together at the 1245 union hall to sharpen their skills, prepare for the work ahead and hear directly about some of the biggest fights facing our union.

As Business Manager Bob Dean said: “When there’s a fight that affects our members and their jobs, these are the brothers and sisters who step up, give their time and make sure our voices are heard.”
