Important Parking Information for Sunday’s Band Concert
We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Farnum House this Sunday, June 14, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. for the Blackstone Valley Community Concert Band performance.
Please note that parking at the Farnum House will be extremely limited. Guests should plan to park at McCloskey School on Capron Street, which is a short walk from the Farnum House.
Additional parking options are available downtown at Savers Bank and UniBank.
We encourage guests to arrive early, allow a little extra time, and bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the concert.
Thank you for helping us keep the event safe and enjoyable for everyone. We look forward to seeing you Sunday!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Cornet John Farnum House for our Memorial Day Open House.

Although the rain canceled the parade, it did not dampen the spirit of the day. We were grateful to welcome so many visitors who came through the house, shared conversations, and took time to remember the meaning of Memorial Day.

Our special display featured military uniforms from the Civil War, World War I, and World War II, offering a powerful reminder of the generations of men and women who served, sacrificed, and carried our nation through times of great challenge.

We are especially thankful to our volunteers who helped make the day possible, and to everyone who continues to support the Uxbridge Historical Society as we preserve and share the stories, artifacts, and historic places that connect our community to the past.

Memorial Day is a time to pause, reflect, and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country. We were honored to spend part of the day with our community at the historic Farnum House.
