Our girl Clementine (and her brother) has been with us several months now. She had a nasty ear infection and developed a head tilt that never quite straightened out. While absolutely adorable, we wanted to figure out if there was anything we could do to get this mystery solved. We just had an appt at Tufts with Dermatology, and then handed off to Neurology. Clem had a comprehensive ear exam and cytology along with an ultrasound of her middle ear , and then a neurologic exam. Thankfully, those checked out normal. We can’t know what lies deeper in that little head without an MRI, and unfortunatly at $5k, that’s out of our reach. This may be a case of permanent nerve damage, and she’ll just be a little tilty forever. One simple and benign thing we can do is try a course of antibiotics for a few weeks to see if it gets any deeper infection we can’t see. If she improves, she’ll be on it longer. If not, she’ll be ready to find a home with her brother!
We couldn’t have made those specialty consults possible with the generous gift from Still Worth Saving!

Do Kiwi & Clementine love each other this much, or do they just have food on their faces?🤔
