Anytime I teach a class or talk with a new parent I always encourage them to watch this movie!!! It was a game changer for me as an autism mom! And even when I got to spend 2 days with Dr. Grandin she had the same feelings—watch it!! 🩷

A lot of high school FFA teachers require their students to watch the movie-I think it should be a requirement to graduate 🙂 —just my opinion 😊

WOW!!!

Just got this beautiful handmade quilt dropped off for the Gala. This quilt is made from a pattern called Mulberry Steps. It is a full size quilt 72 by 91!!!

This gorgeous quilt was made and donated by Amy Perkins!

If you know anything about quilting you know the time and talent it takes to make!! Thank You Amy!!! 🥹

Parents who have children with any special needs you are welcome to this meeting! I had the opportunity to attend one and talk about SMR. It was a safe and welcoming space! 🩷

I encourage you to attend if you can. This is a great support for Laclede county parents!

Day 2️⃣ of Ozark Fall Farm Fest!!!

Amazing day yet again meeting with families and kids! Our kids Rush, Romey and Rocky even got to join in on the fun today! 🤩 (lots of fidgets and candy were given out 🥳)

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth whether it was to learn more about autism, share your story, ask questions, enter a raffle or simply just to say Hi—thank you!!

Every conversation matters! Let’s continue to break stereotypes, start conversations—not whispers and take a step toward acceptance!

I met with so many kids, parents and families I’m still processing the day! 🥹 On a scale it was 11 outta 10!

Huge Thank you to everyone for stopping by the booth for a Show Me Romey photo opportunity and learning more about our foundation.

Special thank you to the parents who reached out today, and the conversations we had! They are ones I won’t forget! Reach out anytime! I’m here!!

There was one girl in particular that touched my momma heart today because she got emotional (in a good way) for me simply telling her she was not weird, it was okay to be different and she is enough! So to this special girl always remember that!!! 🩷

You ask why I sign up for this? For days like today!!
