Happy First Friday, Anchorage!

Come downtown tonight to celebrate the opening day of the Summer Night Market on F Street! The event will feature food trucks, a variety of vendors, a kid zone, and live music by Alicia Lespin and H3!

At 49th State, treat your pup to complementary doggy treats and a refreshing malty mixture of N/A brew!

Just a little further down 3rd Ave., Carlos Pereira's Canvas Unbound show is making its debut at AK Art Collective.

Rounding out the roundup, ADP would like to wish Blush Boutique a very happy 21st anniversary! DJ Spencer Lee will be spinning away at those wheels of steel while shoppers enjoy storewide savings!

The 2026 Live After Five lineup has officially landed!

This summer, Anchorage Downtown Partnership is bringing another stacked season of free live music to downtown, featuring some of Alaska’s most talented musicians and bands.

With construction underway at Town Square Park, Live After Five is taking on a new shape and a new home on F Street between 6th and 7th Avenue for block-party energy all summer long!

None of this would be possible without the generous support of our sponsors: Alaska Airlines Club 49, the Atwood Foundation, Alaskan Brewing Co., and Last Frontier Events.

Join us at the Dena'ina Center today, Wednesday, May 6 for the Anchorage Travel and the Downtown Projects Expos!

Visit us at the Travel Expo from 12–4 p.m. and 5–7 p.m. for a preview of our summer activation lineup and enter to win a $100 gift card to Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop (a James Beard finalist for Outstanding Bakery) located in downtown’s beloved K Street Market.

Overlapping with the Travel Expo session break from 3-5:30 p.m., ADP's Downtown Projects Expo booth will highlight private development projects underway downtown.

At the Downtown Projects Expo, attendees can explore major projects planned for summer 2026, including improvements to Town Square and Peratrovich parks, the Ship Creek to Coastal Trail connection, downtown pedestrian wayfinding enhancements, and the new library branch in Historic City Hall. Project managers and municipal departments will be on hand to share timelines, answer questions, and provide insight into how construction may impact access, mobility, and activity downtown this season.
