These guidelines are in place to help create a safe environment on all social media channels run by Better Health Together (BHT). BHT’s social media channels are intended to be a community where individuals can engage safely in debate, make comments, ask questions. We ask that everyone engaging in our social media channels shows kindness and respect for others whi

le in our social media communities. In order to keep this safe environment safe following guidelines apply to any engagement with us, or anyone, on any of the social media channels managed by BHT. Comments containing any of the following will be hidden or deleted:
• SPAM
• Defamatory language towards any person, deceive, or others
• Language, links, or images that are obscene, offensive, threatening, abusive, hateful, inflammatory, violent, or sexually explicit material.
• Promoting discrimination based on race, sex, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
• Breach any of the terms of any of the social media platforms themselves.
• Off-topic, irrelevant, or unintelligible.
• Advertising or promoting any products or services. Breach of guidelines
We determine whether contributions to social media channels managed by BHT breach our guidelines.

• We reserve the right to hide or delete comments made on all social media channels managed by BHT and to block users who do not follow these guidelines.
• If we feel it is necessary or required by law, we reserve the right to forward any inappropriate contact or communications within BHT’s social media channels to law enforcement.

It’s Community Health Worker Awareness Week! 💙

This week, we’re celebrating Community Health Workers (CHWs) and the incredible role they play across Eastern Washington and beyond. Building trust, connecting people to resources, navigating complex systems, advocating for their communities, and helping people get the support they need.

CHWs are an essential part of our region’s community-based workforce, and we’re proud to work alongside and learn from them every day.

As we celebrate CHWs this week, we’re also looking forward to gathering with Community-Based Workers from across the region on Tuesday, September 1 for our next Community-Based Worker Association of Eastern Washington meeting.

If you’re a CHW or another Community-Based Worker, we hope you’ll join us as we connect, learn from one another, and continue shaping the future of the Association together. 💙

Our thoughts are with all those affected by the ongoing wildfires in our region including partners, staff, board, and community. Thank you to the first responders, local firefighters, and emergency crews working tirelessly to protect our community, and to all of the various ways we have watched folks step up to help one another through these difficult times.

Our Community Care Hub is open to support basic needs. We connect clients to free one-on-one support with a coordinator to get access to care. A local Care Coordinator can help connect you with resources for:
🏠 Housing and emergency assistance
🍎 Food and basic needs
🩺 Health coverage and medical resources
👶 Childcare
💼 Employment and resume support
🧠 Mental health and other community services
