Help us keep our neighbors warm this winter!
Movement West Michigan helps facilitate Holland Warm, mobilizing a network of local partner churches to provide safe overnight warming centers for neighbors experiencing homelessness during extreme winter conditions.
There are several ways to help—from hosting and transportation to meals and winter supplies. Every role matters.

What if every child knew they had a place, a voice, and a role to play in worship – and every family felt equipped to nurture faith beyond the walls of the church?

Through GrowthRings®️ at Church and Home, churches are learning together, asking deeper questions, and exploring new ways to help the next generation grow a resilient, lifelong faith.
This month, we focused on Truth — creating space for children to ask questions, explore Scripture alongside trusted adults, and encounter a God they can know and trust.
Movement West Michigan is grateful to partner with GrowthRings®️ and walk alongside churches embracing this important work.
A second Learning Community begins in January 2028.

GrowthRings® at Church and Home is a shared journey helping churches think intentionally about how faith is formed across both church and family life.

Through this Learning Community, participating churches are learning together, asking deeper questions, and exploring how to help the next generation develop a faith that is rooted, resilient, and able to grow over time.

This month’s conversation centers on Truth — not simply on giving children the “right answers,” but on creating space for honest questions, exploring Scripture together, and helping children encounter a God they can trust.

Movement West Michigan is grateful to partner with GrowthRings® and walk alongside the churches participating in GrowthRings® at Church and Home. Together, we’re investing in the next generation by equipping leaders, strengthening churches, and encouraging thoughtful discipleship that can take root both at church and at home.

Ministry is meaningful work, but it can also be demanding.

At Movement West Michigan, we believe caring for leaders is part of caring for the whole community.

We want ministry leaders to have space to slow down, listen to God, receive encouragement, and tend to their own spiritual health—not just so they can keep going, but so they can lead from a place of greater wholeness, attentiveness, and grace.

Through retreats, spiritual direction, prayer, rest, and other restorative practices, we hope to help create a culture where leaders know they do not have to carry the weight of ministry alone.

Children’s ministry is meaningful work—but you don’t have to do it alone.

This fall, local small groups are launching across West Michigan for children’s ministry leaders to connect, encourage one another, pray, share ideas, and grow together.

Whether you’re new to ministry or have been serving for years, there’s a place for you to build relationships with leaders who understand both the joys and challenges of investing in the next generation.

Groups are forming in Holland, Grand Haven, Grand Rapids/Grandville, and Zeeland/Hamilton.

Interested in joining? Contact Rachel Brower at [email protected] or connect with a local group leader.

Let’s grow, serve, and invest in the next generation—together.

Anchor Point Leadership knows that leadership isn't reserved for those with the biggest platforms or the most resources. It's lived out every day through ordinary people faithfully serving where God has called them.

That's the heart behind the Be the One Conference on October 1 in Holland. Movement West Michigan is excited to invite you to this one-day event brings together leaders from every sphere of life—business, church, education, home, and the community—to be encouraged, challenged, and inspired by stories from local West Michigan leaders who are making a difference right where they are.

Anchored in faith and focused on practical leadership, Be the One is a reminder that God uses faithful people taking faithful steps to bring lasting change. If you're looking for encouragement in your calling and an opportunity to connect with other leaders who share your values, this conference is for you.

As partners with Anchor Point Leadership for this event, Movement West Michigan has a limited number of free registrations. Please contact Dallas Johnson to claim one at [email protected]

Healthy communities need healthy, connected leaders.

At Movement West Michigan, we invest in local Christian leaders by creating spaces for trust, connection, soul care, and growth. Through networks, spiritual direction and retreats, leadership development, and shared experiences, we want leaders to be encouraged, strengthened, and reminded that they don’t have to lead alone.
