Disability Belongs is asking the right questions to make sure you're prepared to vote in November. Make sure to plan ahead so you're ready for November 3, 2026

Election Day is fast approaching! Here are five questions to ask yourself now to plan for an accessible voting experience:

Will you need transportation?
Arrange it in advance.

Will you need assistance voting?
Decide who will help you, or plan to ask an election worker.

Will you need an accessible voting machine?
Ask your local election office what’s available.

Will you need accommodations at the polling place?
Contact your local election office to discuss your needs.

Do you have questions about your rights?
Contact your state’s Protection and Advocacy organization.

It's been a great week getting out to several different events. We were at Tuesday's Assistive Technology Summit held by Disability Rights New Jersey and the Assistive Technology Center at TCNJ. We learned how AI and assistive technology are helping people with disabilities build skills, independence and confidence as they move into adulthood.
