We have had a small surge in followers on this page after our gabfest and we want to thank everyone that follows whether you're a new follower or have followed the page since day one.
There is activity on our 147.045 repeater everyday.
In the mornings we have what we like to call "The breakfest Club" and in the evenings "The Slumbernet"
Not official nets just a round table chat about anything and everything that could come up.
While the 147.045 repeater has an excellent footprint for Western Pennsylvania we would like to remind everyone of the EchoLink node and the Broadcastify feed.

We all enjoy the check-ins we get from all around the world on our small town repeater.

Any amateur radio operator with an EchoLink account can connect with our repeater over the Internet with this option.
W3PIE-R node 478201

Now with broadcastify anyone with a Internet connection and a scanner application either on a phone or a computer can listen in to our repeater.
No license required for listening only.

🌧️ Rain or Shine, W3PIE Hamfest Was a Blast! 📻
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made it out to the 2026 W3PIE Gabfest!
Even though Mother Nature couldn't quite make up her mind—giving us a few rounds of rain throughout the day—your enthusiastic spirit kept the event shining bright.
We hope everyone:
📻 Scored some great gear and flea market finds
🍔 Enjoyed the delicious food and cold drinks
🤝 Reconnected with old friends and made new ones in the amateur radio community
Events like this are only possible because of YOU—our incredible attendees, dedicated vendors, hard-working volunteers, and passionate hams.
Thank you for braving the weather and making this year’s gabfest such a memorable success. 73 to all, and we can’t wait to see you back on the air and at the next one!

Congratulations to George Syner for being awarded the curator of the W3PIE museum.
Also as well as having the museum named after him.

The George T. SYNER Vintage Radio Museum.

It has a very nice sound to it.
Please thank George for everything and everyone he has helped over the years inside and out of the club.
Such a very special award.
