ystemic and cultural barriers to poverty and they must build strong social capital based on human connectedness with peers across class lines in order to succeed in moving out of poverty. Circles Laurel Highlands works with parents and children living in poverty to gain the skills necessary to be successful in today's society, while educating and engaging people from the the entire community to join in the effort to advocate for community change. Our program brings together unique, individualized and flexible supports from volunteers and peer-support meetings to build long-term plans to achieve sustained economic stability.
