Food security is a federal measure of a household’s ability to provide enough food for every person in the household to have an active, healthy life. Food insecurity is the state of being without reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food. Food insecurity isn’t just a term used for foreign nations; it’s a term that applies to many in the USA.

If you are looking for a way to give back to your community or impact communities around the world, there’s no better way than to host a meal-packaging event. We work with both large and small organizations to host exciting events in which volunteers package delicious, nutrient-rich meals that can be donated to local food banks or shelters.

A meal packaging event is a great way for your organization to provide delicious, nutritious meals to meet local needs while empowering global communities.

The Outreach Program is making a huge impact this International Literacy Day!
We’ve built two Children’s Centers in Tanzania and assisted in building the Gunda Secondary School — and the results speak for themselves. Our students’ pass rates are nearly 100% every single year!
We’re proud of the futures being shaped, the opportunities being created, and the communities being strengthened.
Together, we’re building brighter tomorrows through literacy and education.

Country Neighbor officially hosted the 9th annual “Feed the Hope” event and the energy was unmatched! Hundreds of volunteers united to pack nutritious shelf-stable meals like our apple cinnamon oatmeal and tomato basil, to go directly to the Ashtabula Food Pantry. A huge “thank you” to every single person who showed up and to the incredibly generous sponsors who funded this day. We couldn’t make this massive impact without your hands, hearts, and community spirit!
