တို့မြန်မာတွေ ပါဝင်နွှဲ၊ အနိုင်ယူပြီး ဗိုလ်ပါစွဲတဲ့
အရှေ့တောင်အာရှ ဆောင်းဦးပေါက် ကောက်သစ်စားပွဲ..။
၂၀၂၆ စက်တင်ဘာလ ၁၉ ရက်နေ့ တွင် San Francisco Tenderloin Recreational Center ၌ ကျင်းပသော ၁၅ ကြိမ်မြောက် Southeast Asian Mid-Autumn Harvest Festival ပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Au Co Vietnamese Cultural Center, Khmer Harmony and Heritage, Filipino Heritage Ambassadors, Center for Laos Studies and Dance Troupe, San Bruno Thai Temple နှင့် One Myanmar Community (OMC) စတဲ့ အရှေ့တောင်အာရှ ယဥ်ကျေးမှု အသင်းအဖွဲ့တွေ စုပေါင်းကာ ဖွဲ့စည်းထားသည့် SouthEast Asian Arts and Cultural Coalition (SEAACC) အဖွဲ့အစည်းမှ ဦးဆောင်ကာ ၂၀၁၁ ခုနှစ်ကတည်းက စတင်ကျင်းပခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။
ကိုယ့်နိုင်ငံယဥ်ကျေးမှုကို တတ်စွမ်းသမျှ မြင့်တင်ပြသကြရာတွင် One Myanmar Community (OMC) မှတတ်စွမ်းသမျှ နှစ်စဥ် ပါဝင်ခဲ့ရာ ယခုနှစ်တွင် ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်၏ သင်္ကြန်အလှမယ်လေး ကြယ်စင်မိုးက အခမ်းအနား MC အဖြစ် ပါဝင်ကူညီပေးခဲ့သည်။ ထို့နောက် ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၏ Miss Thingyan မ Samantha Chan, Miss Thingyan Runner-up မ Irene Aung, အကနည်းပြ မ Amy Lin, မ Phoo Myat Thiri Mon, မ Mizuri Phyo နှင့် မ Maybeline Aung တို့က 'မူမနေပါနဲ့' သီချင်းဖြင့် မြူးမြူကြွကြွ လှလှပပ ဖျော်ဖြေကာ အဖွင့်လှခဲ့ကြသည်။
ထို့နောင် မအေမီလင်း နှင့် မမေမီဝင်းသက်တို့၏ ဂန္ထဝင် 'အောင်မင်္ဂလာ' အကကလည်း ငြိမ့်ငြိမ့်ညောင်းညောင်းဖြင့် လက်ခုပ်သံ တဖြောင်းဖြောင်းရယူသွားခဲ့ပါသည်။ နောက်ဆုံးအနေဖြင့် မစုဝေ ဦးဆောင်သော ရှမ်းအိုးစည်ဝိုင်းဖြင့် ပွဲထွက်ခဲ့ရာ မစုဝေ၊ ဦးမြင့်ထူး၊ ဦးအာသာ နှင့် ကို Lai Chow တို့က ရှမ်းအိုးစည်၊ မောင်းဆိုင်း၊ လင်းကွင်းတို့ဖြင့်တီးခတ်ကာ ပါဝင်ခဲ့သည်။ ရှမ်းအကကို မကလျာ၊ မဆွေဆွေမြင့် နှင့် မနီနီသန်းတို့က ရှမ်းရိုးရာဝတ်စုံများဖြင့် ကပြဖျော်ဖြေခဲ့ပြီး ကိုဝေဖြိုရှမ်းရိုးရာဓါးသိုင်းအကဖြင့် တင်ဆက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ယခုနှစ်မှ ပထမဆုံးတင်ဆက်သော ရှမ်းအိုးစည်ဝိုင်းဖြစ်ပြီး ပရိသတ်အတွက် အမြင်ဆန်းလှသဖြင့် ထပြန်ဖို့ ပြင်နေသူများပင် ပြန်ထိုင်ကြကာ တခဲနက် အားပေးခဲ့ကြကြောင်း သိရပါသည်။
မြန်မာတို့၏ တိုင်းရင်းသား ရိုးရာ ယဥ်ကျေးမှု အမွေတို့ကား ထုတ်ယူတင်ဆက်၍မကုန် ဂုဏ်ယူဖွယ် ကောင်းလှပေတော့သည်။ နောက်ဆုံးအနေဖြင့် ထိုင်း၊ လာအို၊ ဗီယက်နမ်၊ ကမ္ဘောဒီးယား၊ မြန်မာ ငါးနိုင်ငံတို့၏ သင်္ဘောသီးသုတ် ပြပွဲအဖြစ် တင်ဆက်၍ ဧည့်ပရိသတ်ကို ဧည့်ခံကျွေးမွေးပါသည်။ ထို့နောက် ဘယ်သင်္ဘောသီးသုတ်ကို အကြိုက်ဆုံးလဲ ဟု ပရိသတ်ဆန္ဒဖြင့် ဆုံးဖြတ်စေရာ မဆွေဆွေမြင့် ဦးဆောင်သော မြန်မာသင်္ဘောသီးသုတ်က ပရိသတ် လက်ခုပ်သံ အများဆုံးဖြင့် အနိုင်ရဗိုလ်စွဲသွားခဲ့ပါသည်။
လာရောက်အားပေးကြသည့် ပရိသတ်ထဲမှ တစ်ယောက်ကို ဘာလို့ မြန်မာ သင်္ဘောသီးသုပ်ကို အားပေးတာလဲ တခြားနိုင်ငံတွေနဲ့ ဘာကွာလို့လဲဟု မေးကြည့်ရာ တခြား သင်္ဘောသီးသုတ်တွေက ချိုတယ်၊ ပေါ့တယ်၊ မြန်မာသင်္ဘောသီးသုတ်ကတော့ စပ်လည်း စပ်တယ်၊ ကောင်းလည်းကောင်းတယ် ဟုဆိုကာ ရှူးရှူးရှဲရှဲ ဖြင့် ရေတွေချည်းထသောက်နေတော့သည်။ ပြီးတော့ကြိုက်လွန်းလို့ဟုဆိုကာ အိမ်ကို Togo ထုပ်ယူသွားကြတာလည်း တွေ့ရပါသည်။ အခမ်းအနားကို ညနေ ၄ နာရီခန့်တွင် ရုတ်သိမ်းခဲ့ရာ မြန်မာတွေအတွက် အမှတ်တရပွဲလေးတစ်ပွဲ ဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတော့သည်။ ။
Southeast Asian Mid-Autumn Harvest Festival—where Myanmar participated, won, and took the Papaya Salad Crown
This was the 15th Southeast Asian Mid-Autumn Harvest Festival, held on September 19, 2026, at the San Francisco Tenderloin Recreational Center. The event has been organized annually since 2011 by the Southeast Asian Arts and Cultural Coalition (SEAACC), a coalition made up of Southeast Asian cultural organizations including the Au Co Vietnamese Cultural Center, Khmer Harmony and Heritage, Filipino Heritage Ambassadors, the Center for Laos Studies and Dance Troupe, San Bruno Thai Temple, and One Myanmar Community (OMC).
Each group did its best to showcase and celebrate its own national culture. One Myanmar Community has participated every year to the best of its ability, and this year, Kyar Sin Moe, the 2025 Thingyan Beauty Queen, helped as an MC for the program.
The event opened with a lively and graceful dance performance to the song “Mu Ma Nay Par Neh” by 2026 Miss Thingyan Winner Samantha Chan; Miss Thingyan Runner-up Winner Irene Aung; dance instructor Amy Lin; Phoo Myat Thiri Mon; Mizuri Phyo and Maybeline Aung.
This was followed by a classic, elegant performance of the “Aung Mingalar” dance by Amy Lin and May Mee Win Thet, which drew warm and sustained applause.
The final performance featured a Shan traditional drum ensemble led by Su Wai. Su Wai, U Myint Htoo, Arthur, and Lai Chow performed on Shan drums, gong circles, and cymbals. Kalaya, Swe Swe Myint, and Ni Ni Than performed Shan dances in traditional Shan costumes, while Wai Phyo presented a Shan traditional sword dance.
This was the first time a Shan drum ensemble had been presented at the festival. It was such a fresh and striking performance that even people who had been preparing to leave sat back down to watch and enthusiastically applauded.
Myanmar’s many ethnic cultural traditions are truly a source of immense pride—there is so much cultural heritage to share that it could never all be fully presented.
Finally, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar each presented a papaya-salad tasting for the guests. The audience was then asked to vote for their favorite. The Myanmar papaya salad, led by Swe Swe Myint, won the championship with the loudest applause from the crowd.
When one audience member was asked why they supported the Myanmar papaya salad and how it differed from those of the other countries, they replied that the other salads were sweet and mild, whereas the Myanmar salad was both spicy and delicious. They were sweating and drinking lots of water from the heat—but clearly enjoying it. Some guests liked it so much that they even took takeaway containers home.
The event ended at around 4:00 p.m., leaving behind a memorable and proud occasion for the Myanmar community.
