Ensign Mayo Student Loan Fund

Ensign Mayo Student Loan Fund The Ensign Mayo Loan Fund is a non-profit, tax-deductible trust fund that provides interest-free student loans to Masonic-oriented youth for college.

The Ensign Mayo Loan Fund is a project of the California Association of High Twelve Clubs, a Masonic-affiliated organization. It is an interest-free student loan fund available to DeMolay, Jobs Daughters, Rainbow Girls and Master Masons in California. For more than 50 years, the Ensign Mayo Loan Fund has been offering up to $4,000 per year, interest-free loans for trade schools, community and four

-year colleges as well as graduate studies. To date, the loan fund has helped more than 2,000 masonic-affiliated youth and Master Masons pay for their quality educations. These young people have gone on to become the leaders of tomorrow as doctors, lawyers, small-business owners, anthropologists, chemists, plumbers, welders, electricians, economists, geologists and more. The loan fund was set up by Joseph Sherwood Mayo and his wife, following the untimely death of their son, a DeMolay member and Master Mason from Stockton, California, who was killed while on military leave in Escondido, California in the winter of 1945. Any contributions to the loan fund are tax-deductible and allow us to continue to help our youth and Master Masons pay for their higher education. We accept contributions of any size and acknowledge all who help us to provide this service to our youth and Master Masons.

Hello, EMLF Staff wishes to remind EMLF Students to mail their loan payment checks in earlier each month rather than later in the month. If payment checks are received after the 20th of the month, it will be recorded to your Payment History Statement the following month.

We would also suggest to students that they maintain a copy of the Monthly Payment Statement you receive each month. It has your balance due, balance remaining and new information at the bottom of the statement. Lastly be sure to update your Contact Information such as address, email and phone number. Thank You.
