📣 MV Ducks Families – Please Read

You may have seen the Idaho Youth Football League post regarding helmet try-ons in Nampa this weekend.

MV Ducks players can disregard this notice. 🦆

The Ducks provide and fit our own helmets as part of our program, so you do not need to attend the league helmet fitting event.

If there are any helmet-related requirements or fittings needed for Ducks players, we will communicate those details directly to our families through the sports you app.

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

🚨 HELMET TRY-ONS ARE REQUIRED — DON'T MISS THIS WEEKEND! 🏈

The Idaho Youth Football League Helmet Try-Ons are happening June 6th & 7th from 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.

📍 Location:
203 Lake Lowell Ave, Nampa, ID 83686
At the football shed on the northwest side of the field.

All players are required to attend a helmet fitting to ensure proper sizing and player safety for the upcoming season.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: All players must have their Helmet Release completed online before arriving. We will NOT have computers available on-site to complete forms, so please make sure this is done ahead of time.

📢 Can't make it? We will be scheduling a make-up helmet fitting date in late June or early July. The exact weekend is still to be determined and will be announced as soon as details are finalized.

🏈 CALLING ALL FORMER MV DUCKS PLAYERS! 🏈

The Idaho Youth Football League just opened the door for a 13U division at the Great Northwest Showdown Tournament in Boise… and we’re thinking it’s time to bring the Ducks back together.

This wouldn’t be a regular season team.

This would be a special tournament team made up of former MV Ducks players who want one more chance to suit up with their brothers, represent the Magic Valley, and compete against some of the best teams in the Northwest.

🔥 One tournament.
🔥 One team.
🔥 One more run.

If you’ve ever worn the Ducks jersey and you’re eligible for 13U, we want to hear from you!

We’re currently gauging interest before making a final commitment. If enough players are ready to make the trip, we’ll start putting the roster together and share additional details.

Hey parents! We’re looking into entering this tackle football tournament (August 1st and 2nd) for the team it would be for 11u since we wouldn’t have the pads in for 10u yet. and wanted to see who would be interested. We think it would be a great opportunity for the boys to compete, grow together, and make some great memories. It will be a very competitive tournament.

There would be a team fee of $550 that would be divided into all the kids, roughly $25-$40 per kid depending on how many we get.

If your athlete would be interested and your family feels they could commit, please let us know so we can start planning and share more details soon!

🏈 The MV Ducks are gearing up for another season, and like all youth sports programs, fundraising plays a huge role in helping keep costs manageable for families while giving these kids a great experience.

🦆 MV Ducks Update 🦆

Coaches met last night and teams have officially been finalized.

We appreciate everyone who came out and competed at tryouts. The energy, effort, and attitude made it a tough (and awesome) decision process.
