This year, our nation marks its 250th anniversary. *Moments That Made US* is an exhibit that explores the ideals at the heart of the Declaration of Independence through moments in our history that have defined their meaning.

We’re bringing this nation-wide conversation right to Tuttle! Join us at Tuttle Public Library to learn more about two of our founding principles: “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” and “Created Equal.” The exhibit will also feature photographs and information from the Tuttle Historical Society about Tuttle’s important connections to historic events.

Statewide access to this exhibit is made possible by the Oklahoma Historical Society and the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, with materials printed and distributed thanks to Institute of Museum and Library Services funding.

Last night the Museum of Osteology presented a program about forensic osteology. Participants learned how to identify the s*x, age, and cause of death based on the characteristics of skulls. Each group was given a replica skull to identify, a workbook, and a worksheet. Each skull told a story of how a person lived and died. The program was very informative and it is a solemn of the work that is necessary in our justice system and in understanding the human body.

Thank you to the Museum of Osteology for bringing this incredible hands-on learning experience. We hope to have you back soon!
