What book are you taking to bed?

10/19/2026

Today's a good day to take time and be distracted by books. Find a hideaway and open a book. If you need some books, stop by your local public library.

🚧Update🚧 10/15/26
As rain continues in the area today, please use caution while traveling.

⚠️ Public Safety Update
Please use extra caution when traveling on back/side roads and at intersections. Due to heavy rainfall and limited drainage in some areas, there may be standing water on roadways and low-water crossings.

Drivers should also use caution when meeting and passing other vehicles on narrow back roads.

Additionally, Schrock Park Creek is overflowing, and the gates have been closed at the creek crossing until conditions improve.

We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as needed. Please slow down, stay alert, and never drive through standing water.

Thank you, and stay safe!
