Today was an extra special meeting as we had the opportunity to introduce JJ and Raider to the club alongside District Governor Pete Herrmann!

Join us this Wednesday, August 26, at 7:00 AM at Latif’s by Pedretti as we welcome Coach Gabriel Bolton, the newly appointed head coach of Fresno State Women’s Soccer! ⚽️🐾

Named the fifth head coach in Fresno State women’s soccer history on December 24, 2025, Coach Bolton brings a wealth of experience and a strong connection to the Central Valley. Before joining the Bulldogs, he spent 21 seasons at Stanislaus State, where he became the most successful coach in the history of Stanislaus State women’s soccer, compiling an impressive 223-123-48 record.

Come hear from Coach Bolton about his journey, his vision for Fresno State soccer, and what’s ahead for the Bulldogs!

Since joining the Mission in April 2011, Dr. Metcalf has expanded its outreach ministries to include Hope Respite Care, Hope for Families, Transition to Hope, Hope for Veterans, Bridge to Hope, and a Senior Meals program.

Before coming to the Mission, Bruce spent 38 years serving as a pastor in the Evangelical Covenant Church. We’re excited to hear about his work, the Mission’s impact, and the many ways they are helping the community.

Growing together as leaders! 🌟

A few of our Turlock Sunrise Rotarians spent Saturday at the Rotary District 5220 Leadership Academy at beautiful Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys. 🍇🌄

The Leadership Academy brought Rotarians together for an inspiring day of learning and leadership development, featuring speakers Tabitha Sparks, Zone 26/27 Major Gifts Officer, and Nyron McLean and Judy Zulfiguar from District 5330. The sessions focused on two of the most important areas of Rotary: Membership & The Rotary Foundation.

We’re proud of our members for investing in their leadership and bringing new ideas and inspiration back to our club! 💙💛

A huge thank you to Jim & Carol Ahlem for once again opening their home and hosting our annual Summer BBQ! ☀️🌭🍦

It was a beautiful evening filled with great food, homemade ice cream, laughter, and even better fellowship. One of the best parts of Rotary is taking time to connect outside of our weekly meetings, and last night was a wonderful reminder of the friendships that make our club so special.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make it such a fun night. We’re already looking forward to next year! 💙💛
