I usually share resale events happening around Chicagoland, BUT this one popped up on my feed, and I wanted to pass it along to any of my followers in the Central Valley, California area!

Hope Chest Thrift Stores is hosting a BUY BY THE POUND sale this weekend, October 9 & 10!

📍 Modesto Location: 3105 Del Este Ave, Modesto, CA

I’ve never personally shopped at these stores (or have even been to Modesto for that matter) but after looking them up, I learned that Hope Chest Thrift Stores supports Community Hospice & Health Services, an organization that provides hospice care and other supportive services to individuals and families in their community.

As someone who works in home-based primary care, this mission really resonates with me. I see firsthand how important it is for patients and their families to have access to compassionate care and support in their own homes, especially when navigating serious illnesses and end-of-life care. I love seeing thrift stores that give back to their communities in such a meaningful way!

So while I can’t personally speak to the thrifting experience at this location, I’m always happy to share a great resale event!

If you’re in the Modesto area, happy thrifting! I hope you find some amazing deals while supporting a great cause!
