Dear Parents,
We are excited to introduce our Lil’ Hornet Girls Basketball Buddy Program for the upcoming basketball season! This program gives our younger Lady Hornets the opportunity to build relationships with our high school girls basketball players, be part of our basketball family, and experience the excitement of being a Lady Hornet!
Our goal is to create meaningful connections between our younger athletes and our high school players while building school spirit, friendships, and a love for Lady Hornet basketball.
What Your Lil’ Hornet Will Get to Experience:
National Anthem Stand: Beginning in December, Lil’ Hornets will have the opportunity to stand alongside our Lady Hornet basketball team during the National Anthem at home games.
Free Home Game Entry: Lil’ Hornets will receive free entry to Lady Hornet home basketball games throughout the season.
Halftime Performance: Our Lil’ Hornets will have the opportunity to perform a special halftime show during our home game on January 22nd!
One Designated Practice: Each Lil’ Hornet will have practice from 4-5pm on January 21st with our high school girls basketball players to learn, interact, and prepare for their halftime experience.
Program T-Shirt: Each participant will receive a required program T-shirt included in the registration cost.
Program Details:
Cost: $50 per participant (includes required program T-shirt)
Participation Limit: Maximum of 2 Lil’ Hornets per high school basketball player
Gift Exchange: There will be no gift exchange between buddies.
Home Game Entry: Free for participating Lil’ Hornets.
We believe this program will be a wonderful opportunity for our younger girls to feel connected to our Lady Hornet basketball program and for our high school players to serve as positive role models.
