The primary purpose of the Friends of TAS is to reduce the intake of shelter animals through pet education and sterilization with an end goal of reducing the need of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation and lessening the burden of government. Our objective is to increase the positive interaction between pet owners and the shelter to encourage sterilization of unaltered pets. Collaboration between rescue organizations and the shelter is key to finding homes for unclaimed adoptable pets. Donation Links:

That big smile says it all! Cove is a happy, affectionate boy who loves people and is always ready to make a new friend. ❤️

At approximately 12 months old and 75 pounds, Cove is still a youngster with lots of growing and learning ahead of him. He's looking for a rescue partner or a forever family willing to continue his training and help him become the best dog he can be.

Cove loves attention, enjoys playing with other dogs in playgroups, and has a blast splashing around in the water to cool off. He's a social, sweet boy with so much love to give!

🐾 A little more about Cove:

Could you be the one he's been waiting for? If you can't adopt, please share his post. It could help him find the person who changes his life! 💙

❤️🐾 PLEASE KEEP BULMA IN YOUR THOUGHTS. 🐾❤️

Bulma went in for surgery to have what was believed to be a lipoma removed. Unfortunately, once the vet began surgery, it turned out to be a much more concerning tumor. 💔

Her veterinarian is worried it may be a soft tissue sarcoma, but we won't know for sure until the pathology report comes back. The tumor was extensive, and we are all anxiously waiting for answers.

We are heartbroken for Bulma and her wonderful family. She was adopted into a loving home, and we want nothing more than for her to have many happy, healthy years ahead with them. ❤️

Right now, all we can do is wait for the results and hope for the best. Please keep this sweet girl and her family in your thoughts as they navigate this difficult and uncertain time.

We will share an update when we know more. Thank you for loving Bulma with us. ❤️🐾

Picture is of her on the way to the vet with her favorite toy 😭

🦋❤️ MEET NEVEAH — 70 POUNDS OF PURE LOVE! ❤️🐾

If you’re looking for a social butterfly, Neveah is your girl! 🦋 We recently took her to an event, and she wanted to meet EVERYONE! If you were willing to give her attention, she was more than happy to share the love. 😂❤️ She seems to think she's a 7-pound puppy instead of the 70-pound sweetheart she actually is! She is 1-1/2 to 2 years old.

And the best part? Neveah isn't just a pretty face! This girl is dog-friendly, walks nicely on a leash, is potty trained, and knows how to behave when she's out and about. She's affectionate, friendly, and honestly, we have nothing but good things to say about her!

Now all this sweet girl needs is a family of her own to shower with all that love. Could that be you? 🏡💗

Come meet Neveah at Tulare Animal Services and see for yourself what a wonderful girl she is. We have a feeling she's going to make someone a very happy dog parent!
