The primary purpose of the Friends of TAS is to

reduce the intake of shelter animals through pet education and sterilization with an end goal of reducing the need of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation and lessening the burden of government. Our objective is to increase the positive interaction between pet owners and the shelter to encourage sterilization of unaltered pets. Collaboration between rescue organizations and the shelter is key to finding homes for unclaimed adoptable pets. Donation Links:

Soto is the total package—handsome, sweet, and easygoing! 💙

At about 1 year old and 75 lbs, Soto is a big boy, but he certainly doesn't act like it. He has a calm, gentle demeanor that makes him a pleasure to spend time with, and he's been absolutely no trouble during his time at the shelter.

Soto walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out and exploring with his people. He's also proven to be dog-friendly. During a recent outing, he met a large male dog who wasn't interested in making friends, and Soto couldn't have cared less. He was happy to mind his own business and keep moving along. 😄

🐾✨ Meet Enzo ✨🐾

WARNING: Watching Enzo may cause excessive smiling. 😍💙

Just look at that face! Those expressive eyes, that adorable underbite, and that "I know I'm cute" expression make Enzo nearly impossible to resist.

This handsome little guy is about 4 years old and 28 lbs of pure charm. He's friendly, lovable, and has enough personality packed into his compact frame to keep you smiling every day.

In recent dog introductions, Enzo showed interest in Bonnie and seemed more unsure about Danny. His reaction wasn't a hard "no," but he may benefit from slower introductions and some time to decompress outside of the shelter environment.

What we know for sure? Enzo is cute enough to get away with just about anything. 😂💙

Michelle is the kind of dog who steals your heart… but maybe not in the first 30 seconds. 😂

When she first comes out, she’s SO excited to see you that she has to get her zoomies out first. Once she burns off that happy energy, that’s when you fall in love with her. 💛

Michelle is affectionate, gentle, and eager to please. She’ll need a little patience, consistency, and understanding as she continues to learn.

This sweet girl is also very submissive and will happily roll onto her belly for love and reassurance. 🥹 She has a loving, goofy personality and would love a family to grow up with.

Michelle is about a year old, spayed, healthy, and ready to find a family of her own. Her mom was a black Lab, but Michelle and her sisters clearly took after someone else 😉 What they did inherit is an incredibly sweet and loving temperament.

Looking for a loyal, easygoing companion? Gizmo might just be your guy. 💛

At about 4 years old and 60 lbs, this handsome boy has the perfect mix of charm and chill. He’s a friendly, mild-mannered pup who enjoys hanging out, soaking up attention, and sticking around for a few rounds of fetch. 🎾 And yes… treats are definitely the way to his heart. 😄

Gizmo is also kid-friendly and did so well with Emma, showing just how gentle and sweet he can be. 💕

He’s dog-friendly too and has participated in playgroups with both large male and female dogs, proving he gets along great with others.
