At the May meeting the members showed the green wood bowls they made for the month's challenge. We then discussed the upcoming Salt and pepper shaker challenge. Members that have agreed to the challenge will receive a salt and pepper shaker kit, wood blanks and the Forstner bits required for the kit.
The materials should be available for distribution at the June meeting.
Mark gave a demonstration on the various techniques he uses to make the shakers.

We had a great turnout for the “rescheduled” March meeting. The challenge for the month was to make a mallet and many beautiful mallets were made! Great job by everyone. The largest mallet award goes to Dave Milano and the smallest mallet award goes to Rick Doganerio!
