These 3 amazing athletes have made it to the big stage at Keystone State Tournament! All the hard work, late practices, and constantly learning culminates to today! Wrestle hard, wrestle smart, and be proud of yourselves!!!! Win or lose keep your heads held high!

Practice this week is today and tomorrow 5:30-7. Focusing on post season qualifyiers(advanced) but open to anyone who wants to keep getting better!

Next week will be singlet turn in. Please return your singlets if done wrestling. Will post time and date at end of week.

Due to the FID day at the school practices will be Wednesday and Thursday this week. Note majority of tournaments are over. These practices are focusing on wrestlers advancing to post season. We will schedule a night in the near future for singlet turn in and end of year get together!

Now that the dust has settled I need to acknowledge the amount of time, effort , and work put in by so many great people at yesterday’s W**d-Parker memorial tournament!!! I can’t tag everyone but know you were all seen, and appreciated. It could not be accomplished without you all!

Mindy Austin, Kelsa, and all the day of volunteers in the concessions!
Tiffany-thank you fo the head table help.
Trojan Varsity, and Jr high wrestlers and coaching staff for the table work!
Parents for stepping up where needed when needed!!
All the youth coaches, Zack, Toby, Jordan, Larry!!! Thank you for your dedication to the sport, the kids, and the club!!!

With all this said, as you can see it takes an entire community to pull off what we did Sunday! 204 kids tournament done by 3, cleaned and out the door by 3:30!
Every year we ask for volunteers, and assistance to pull this off! So thank you for the ones that stepped up and continue to every year. Many do this out of the goodness of their hearts with no recognition, or desire for anything in return! The board has been involved for multiple years and is always looking for new faces to continue to grow and build amazing future Trojan Wrestlers!

Parents: tournament is Sunday!!!! All hands on deck if able. Also, if you aren’t sure if your wrestler signed up please comment here so I can make sure they are on my list I need name, age, and weight!!!!

Don’forget we have our tournament at the commons building Sunday March 1. Troy wrestlers are signed up through the club so no worries there. Any other club or school program please sign up!

Parents:
With the upcoming tournament we still need items donated for concessions. Please comment what you can bring. Examples are

Hot dogs
Taco meat
Sloppy joes
Rolls
Water
Soda
Gatorade
Granola bars
Etc….

Keep in mind this tournament is our biggest fundraiser for the club, it helps provide opportunities for all our kids throughout the season. The more donations the more profit. Reach out to family, friends, businesses to help the club profit to hopefully allow for more wrestling clinics throughout the season!
