That’s a wrap on the 98th Annual Alabama FFA Convention! 💙💛

What an incredible year it has been for West Morgan FFA!

🏆 Our Ag Communications Team was named State Champions, placing 1st in Alabama and earning the opportunity to represent our state at Nationals this fall!
Members: Kati May, Jacqueline Gonzalez, Karina Maisonet, and Madi Mills

🔧 Our Small Engines Team earned an impressive 3rd Place State Finish!
Members: Zeb Green, Trevor Donahoo, Blake Holliday, and Cooper Letson

🎖️ Two of our seniors received their Alabama FFA State Degrees, adding another prestigious accomplishment to their blue corduroy jackets.

⭐ Our chapter was also recognized with a Silver Rating in the National Chapter Award Program, a testament to the hard work and dedication of our members throughout the year.

Success doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from early mornings, late nights, countless practices, and members who are willing to put in the work. We are incredibly proud of every student who represented West Morgan FFA this year. The awards are exciting, but watching our members grow into leaders is the greatest accomplishment of all.

Here’s to an amazing year and an exciting road ahead—especially as our Ag Communications Team prepares for Nationals! 💙💛

Day 2 of State Convention was packed with fun, learning, and teamwork! 💙💛

We started the day by exploring the Career and Trade Expo, where members had the opportunity to learn about future careers, industries, and educational opportunities. We then attended the Opening Session and officially kicked off another exciting day at convention.

Next, we put our problem-solving skills to the test in the escape room—and we’re proud to say both teams escaped successfully! 🔐🎉

We wrapped up the day with ice cream, games, and lots of laughs. 🍦🎲 Now it’s time to get some rest as we anxiously await tomorrow’s results for our Small Engines and Ag Communications CDE teams. No matter what happens, we are so proud of how they have represented West Morgan FFA this week!

Day 1 of State Convention is in the books! 💙💛

Today was CDE Contest Day, with our Small Engines and Ag Communications teams competing at the state level. We are incredibly proud of these members and the countless hours of hard work, dedication, and preparation they have put in to get here. We will find out on Thursday how they placed, but no matter the results, they have already represented our chapter well!

After a day of competition, we enjoyed some fun and fellowship at the Biscuits baseball game. ⚾️

We can’t wait to see what the rest of State Convention has in store!

What an unforgettable evening at our 2026 FFA Banquet on May 14! 💙💛

We are so proud of each and every member who helped make this year a success. From recognizing award winners and celebrating CDE accomplishments, to honoring our graduating seniors and installing our new officer team, the night was filled with memories we will never forget.

Thank you to all of our members, parents, supporters, administrators, alumni, and guests who continue to support our chapter and help our students grow as leaders every day. We are incredibly thankful for the opportunities, friendships, and accomplishments this year has brought us.

A special congratulations to all of our award recipients and seniors — your hard work and dedication truly shine through. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for each of you!
