Tracr’s, does this look familiar? Like a family tradition that most don’t understand? That other services respond to as if this is poor leadership? Please. You’re GD right it does. This is Cpl Luis Lopez re-enlisting so he can deploy with the ACV (AmTrac Platoon) on 26th MEU. He considers himself, and is, an Amtrac’r. He chose the Jetty for his promotion. His PltSgt GySgt Alex Panetta and PltCdr 1stLt Jackson Swift were all in. This is our DNA. This is our legacy. Our Legacy is in good hands. The Amphibious Tractor Association recognizes the ACV as an Amphibious Tractor because it is. More importantly, we recognize the ACV Marines as Amtrac’rs and render them responsible for the legacy, legend, and lore of all Alligator Marines.

A great big thank you and Semper Fi to Rachel Finzen. She is running the 2026 Marine Corps Marathon in honor of her Uncle SSgt Mike Coyle USMC (2141), 1973 - 1982. Rachel has also raised and donated nearly $2000 to the Memorial. Rachel, we are grateful for you, and your Uncle’s service in our beloved Corps. Good luck at the MCM! We will be rooting for you.
