Today, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program was deeply honored to receive the 2026 Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher Distinguished Civilian Humanitarian Award—one of the Department of War’s highest civilian honors for humanitarian service.

This recognition reflects nearly 80 years of serving children and families in need and recognizes the unwavering dedication of the Marines, local volunteers, donors, community partners, and supporters who make our mission possible.

While this recognition is a tremendous honor, it also serves as a reminder that our work continues.

Every toy collected.
Every book distributed.
Every family supported.
Every child reminded they are seen, valued, and never forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this mission possible.

We are excited to officially introduce Isabella, our 2026–2027 Josephine County Toys for Tots Youth Ambassador! 🎁

Isabella is 15 years old and currently serves as a GySgt in the Young Marines. She has a heart for service and is passionate about giving back to her community, volunteering, and supporting our local veterans. 🇺🇸

In her own words:

“Hi everyone! My name is Isabella, and I’m 15 years old and a GySgt in the Young Marines. 🇺🇸 I love giving back to my community, especially volunteering and helping support our veterans.

Being part of Toys for Tots is something that makes me incredibly happy. There’s something so special about being able to help bring Christmas joy to children and seeing all those big smiles when they receive their gifts. 🎁🎄

I’m so thankful to everyone who donates, volunteers, and helps make this possible. Together, we can make a difference and bring a little more joy to kids this Christmas!”

As our Youth Ambassador, Isabella will focus on connecting with the youth of Josephine County through service, kindness, and giving back. One of her goals is to encourage other young people to discover just how powerful a simple act of kindness can be — because sometimes, one small act can create one BIG smile. ❤️

We are incredibly excited to have Isabella join our Toys for Tots team, and she already has some pretty fun things cooking behind the scenes! 👀🎁 We can’t wait for our community to see what she has planned.
