The Dade County Food Pantry will host a food distribution event this Friday, June 6 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.

Residents of Dade County interested in applying are requested to arrive between 3:00 and 4:30 pm.

Eligible families with children aged 17 and under residing in the household will receive an additional food box during June and July.

Tri-State Food Pantry has officially changed the name to Dade County Food Pantry.

We are still operating from the same location at 2026 Hwy 136 on Sand Mountain, but the name change better reflects our service area.

We recognize that during the summer months children are not eating meals at school and additional groceries may be a financial burden to families. As a way to address this meal shortage, we are offering an additional food box for the months of June and July to qualifying families with children under 18 in the house. These boxes weigh about 30 pounds and are stocked with single serve and family size shelf-stable items selected with kids in mind.

The pantry will be open for box pick up on June 5 and June 19 from 3 to 5 pm.
