scholarships to aid outstanding women educators in pursuing graduate study and to grant fellowships to non-member women educators

To stimulate the personal and professional growth of members and to encourage their participation in appropriate programs of action

To inform the members of current economic, social, political and educational issues so that they may participate effectively in a world society

Ladies, we prepared 92 items yesterday for our Purse Auction. Hope to see you all there tomorrow evening (Friday) at 6:00 for the BBQ dinner and auction in the Fellowship Hall of Trenton Methodist Church.

The annual Delta Kappa Gamma Purse Auction takes place on Friday, March 20 at 6:00 PM at the Trenton Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. If you know a member, check with them about tickets or buy a ticket at the door. We'll have a BBQ supper, some entertainment and a silent auction. Besides the purses, we have some artwork, tickets to local entertainment, and more. Proceeds go to a scholarship for local high school students.

We were thrilled to have our sister, Darlene Rogers present to the chapter this past week. She presented about the current reading interventions being used in our local schools. The programs have been very successful in meeting students needs. Thank you so much for presenting and being so passionate about meeting these goals.
