Congratulations to our sister, Janet Brooks!! Excellence in education on display right here! 🙌🏻

We are proud to recognize Mrs. Janet Brooks as the DES staff recipient of our Character Award for Respect!

Janet is a wonderful example of what it means to lead with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for others. As a first grade teacher and Lead Teacher, she consistently shows respect to her students, colleagues, and families while inspiring those around her with her positive attitude and caring heart.

Her dedication and commitment to our students have been recognized through being named Teacher of the Year not once, but twice! We are incredibly grateful for all Janet does for Dade Elementary and the example she sets each day.

Congratulations, Mrs. Brooks! We are so proud to celebrate you! ⭐🐾

The annual Delta Kappa Gamma Purse Auction takes place on Friday, March 20 at 6:00 PM at the Trenton Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. If you know a member, check with them about tickets or buy a ticket at the door. We'll have a BBQ supper, some entertainment and a silent auction. Besides the purses, we have some artwork, tickets to local entertainment, and more. Proceeds go to a scholarship for local high school students.

Dade County teachers and staff, thanks for all you do. A great Kona Ice Day —-sponsored by Delta Kappa Gamma.
