I write this with a very very heavy heart.

Due to our current financial situation, we have made the difficult decision to pause our Blessing Box program and several of our other commitments for the time being.

The truth is that The Stone Carter Foundation relies entirely on donations, sponsorships, and fundraising efforts to serve families. At this time, we simply do not have the funding needed to continue these programs at the level they require.

Right now, our focus is on hosting The Stone Carter Foundation’s Third Annual Gala on Saturday, September 12th in Anderson, South Carolina. This event is critical to the future of our foundation and will help determine how many families we are able to support in the coming year.

If you would like to donate an item or experience to our gala raffle, become a sponsor, volunteer, attend the event, or make a financial contribution, please email me (Brandi) at [email protected].

Our hope is that with additional support and funding, we will be able to begin sending Blessing Boxes again and continue showing love to families experiencing the unimaginable loss of a child.

This is never a post I want to make. Every Blessing Box represents a family who is hurting, and every request we receive matters deeply to us. Unfortunately, we have reached a point where we cannot continue these programs without additional donations and financial support.

Thank you to every person who has donated, volunteered, prayed for us, attended an event, shared a post, or supported our foundation in any way. Because of you, dozens of families have been reminded that they are not alone 🤍👼🏼

Last year, our Brunch Ball donors helped us raise over $10,000 to support grieving families by donating items and experiences to our raffle. Their generosity helped us create Blessing Boxes, provide Christmas programs gifts, and show love to families affected by the heartbreaking pain of child loss.

As we prepare for our Candlelight Gala on Saturday, September 12th, we’re looking for businesses and donors who would like to help make this year just as special.

During this year’s gala, we will lead a beautiful candle lighting ceremony honoring babies and children gone too soon. As each child’s name is read, families will light candles in their honor, creating a wave of light throughout the venue.

Today has been such a wonderful Tuesday🤍

Chris has been celebrating his 32nd birthday by honoring Stone, Sunday, Iris, and all of the Carter babies at the Sunday’s Promise Golf Tournament⛳️

One of the biggest ways we raise money during our Candlelight Gala each year is through raffle baskets and auction items donated by generous businesses.

Every gift card, product, experience, service, or donation helps us support families who have experienced the loss of a baby or child far too soon.

Fundraising can honestly feel discouraging sometimes. We’ve mailed hundreds of “Will You Donate?” packets, and while not every business is able to give, we’re continuing to pray that the right people will say yes. It only takes a few generous hearts to make a huge impact 🥹

I wanted to share something incredibly special happening in our community for families who have experienced the loss of a baby or child far too soon, including those who have experienced early miscarriage 👼🏼

The Third Annual Stone Carter Foundation Gala is officially open for ticket sales. (Tickets are free for bereaved parents and siblings!)

The evening will include dinner, fundraising, community, and one of the most special parts of the night: our candle lighting ceremony. Loss families are invited to light personalized candles in honor of their babies and children, creating a wave of light throughout the venue as we remember their lives and legacies.

The gala will take place on Saturday, September 12th at 6:00 PM at The Bleckley Station in Anderson.

TSCF is a local nonprofit organization that supports families navigating the unimaginable loss of a baby or young child through remembrance programs, personalized Blessing Boxes, and individualized support.

I figured this may be the best way to reach everyone 🤍

I am going through a very hard time right now, and I need to take a little time for myself. Because of this, Blessing Boxes will be delayed by about a month.

May boxes will be delivered in June
June boxes will be delivered in July
July boxes will be delivered in August
August boxes will be delivered in September

Thank you all so much for understanding and for continuing to support The Stone Carter Foundation. It truly means more than you know.

I am taking a two week break to focus on my mental health so that I can come back and be the best version of myself (and the best president of this foundation that I can possibly be).

Thank you for giving me the space to do that 🤍
