It’s always a good day when we can honor Jack Hunt and attend a Palmetto Boat Center event to present a scholarship. Today, we were honored to present the Long Live Jack Memorial Scholarship to Gibson Huntley from the Chapman High School Bass Team. Gibson will be attending Lander University in the Fall and fishing on their Bass Team. Congratulations, Gibson, we know you are gonna do big things!

Special thanks to Marty Walker, Chris Kanute and Rob Daniels for all that you do to make the Jack Hunt Memorial Tournament possible, which fund the scholarships and awards we present. The scholarships would not be possible without your support.

Thankful for a great turn out today for the 6th Annual Jack Hunt Memorial Tournament. I enjoyed seeing everyone and appreciate you supporting Our Guy. Jack was so humble, I know he would be overwhelmed and so very proud all at the same time.
52 Teams competed today and results are posted at the end of the pictures. Thank you for your participation as this helps to keep the Scholarship and Team Awards funded.
As always, thank you Marty Walker, a tournament like this is no small feat and you do an awesome job. Thank you for helping us to make the Jack Hunt Memorial Scholarship a reality. To date we have given 4 PBC High School Angler Scholarships, 5 College Team Awards, and 2 AOY College Awards.
As Jack would say, “I give God the Glory”. Thank you Jesus for the gift of eternity. Tell someone about Jesus, you could help change their life!

I hope to see a bunch of you guys Saturday morning. I hope we can all honor Jack Hunt’s memory in a special way through fishing. I wonder what he would say to know a whole fishing tournament is just for him?
