Just a little update about 🌻Sunflowers for Jack 🌻this year, as I’m getting a few questions. I have decided to take a break this summer and not do Sunflowers for Jack. As many know I have been working really hard establishing the foundation, running fundraisers, selling T-shirts, promoting the fishing tournament and making sure we are giving to our community since Jack’s accident in 2021, that I felt I needed a little reset.
I have a little sunflower patch that Law and I planted and a few other garden flowers so I am thinking about a little flower stand in a few weeks. It would be porch pick up at my home. Those proceeds will go back to LLJ. I will just have to see how our crop turns out. 🥰 More to come. 🌻❤️
We are and have been blessed with gracious private donors, successful fundraisers, and t-shirt sales, that none of our work will suffer from taking a pause this summer. I have had a few reach out about t-shirts and I just did not design one this time. My heart hurts about that because it was something I did around Jack’s Birthday …so maybe a special design coming soon.
We miss him, so very much, that if I think about it too much I just can not breathe. Jack was something else, he loved big, he forgave quickly, he shared his faith, and he knew where he was going when his time was finished on earth. I just wish it would not have been so soon, we wanted so much for him here on earth. He was a light and I pray the works we do in Jack’s name, will continue to shine a light of hope for those around.
As Jack would say and as his trim switches so clearly stated, God is #1 and Matthew 4:19, “Follow Me and I will make you Fishers of Men”. God never promised an easy road, but he did say your struggles may be hard but it’s nothing compared to the Joy that’s coming. And that’s what I’m holding on to….its gonna be glorious!
