The future is in excellent hands!

Last month, the incredible students at Lanier High School stepped up to the plate and officially registered to vote.
From filling out forms to holding up those "Registered & Ready" signs, these high schoolers are proving that you’re never too young to make a difference and drive change in your community.

A huge shoutout to everyone who took this major step toward shaping tomorrow!

Check out these faces of our future voters and drop a 💯 for their first steps in civic engagement!

Our votes are our power — and protecting that power starts with understanding the tactics designed to silence us.

Join us on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at the C.E. Roy Community Center for a community‑wide Voter Suppression Forum featuring Representative Percy Watson. We’re breaking down the real strategies used to discourage voting, exposing the many forms of suppression that show up in our neighborhoods, and building a stronger culture of participation across the Pine Belt.

-Meet & Greet: 6:00 PM
-Forum Begins: 6:30 PM

This event is free, open to the public, and built for anyone who cares about protecting our community’s voice. Whether you’re a first‑time voter, a long‑time advocate, or someone who just wants to understand what’s happening around you — your presence matters.

Hosted in partnership with the League of Women Voters of the Pine Belt, MS Votes Action Fund, Forrest County Chapter of NAACP, The Mighty Phi Rho Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, and Mississippi MOVE.
