Something exciting is coming to downtown Torrington!

We are thrilled to announce a mural project that will serve as a vibrant “front door” to our Main Street district — welcoming residents and visitors as they enter downtown from the south.

This project is about more than just paint on a wall. It’s about community pride, placemaking, creativity, and creating something meaningful together.

As fundraising begins, we’re inviting businesses, organizations, and community members to help bring this vision to life through sponsorships and community participation opportunities.

We’re especially excited to roll out an interactive “mural reveal” fundraiser where the mural will gradually be revealed piece by piece as donations come in — allowing the community to follow along throughout the process!
