Joseph's Children's Home is a private, non-profit psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) for youth ages six to eighteen that has been providing quality services to youth and families since 1930.

November is National Family Caregivers Month. And at Saint Joseph's Children's Home, we want every parent and caregiver who has ever made the call to ask for help to know something important: you made the right decision.

Reaching out for residential mental health support for your child is not giving up. It is one of the most courageous things a parent can do.

At Saint Joseph's, we understand that placing a child in our care does not mean stepping back from the journey. It means stepping into a partnership. Our clinical team communicates consistently with families throughout the treatment process. We work to rebuild relationships, not just treat symptoms. Spooky season is in full swing at St. Joseph’s! 🎃👻 Our kids and staff are bringing the Halloween spirit with plenty of creativity, costumes, and fun. It’s all about making memories, sharing smiles, and enjoying a little extra magic along the way!

Our direct care staff came together this week and had some early Halloween fun in celebration of the exceptional work they do each and every day! 🙌🏻

In recognition of Direct Support Professionals Appreciation, we made sure they had a skeleton full of goodies and a skull full of mac n’ cheese, served up by the one and only Guy Fieri! 😆

These individuals go above and beyond every day to ensure the needs of youth and families are a priority. We are so grateful for their dedication that truly makes a difference every single day. Their work isn’t easy, but it’s so important.

What did this team do during their own celebration? They honored their exceptional leader. A grateful team creates a strong vision for tomorrow.

**$2,500 HARDSHIP RELIEF GRANT OPPORTUNITY FOR GOSHEN COUNTY RESIDENTS**

WYO HELP is grateful to Pinnacle Bank for nominating our organization to participate in a special opportunity through the Roy and Gloria Dinsdale Foundation.

We have been invited to nominate **up to three individuals or families** experiencing financial hardship for a one-time **$2,500 grant**.

Life can change unexpectedly. Losing a job, experiencing a medical emergency, escaping domestic violence, becoming the victim of a crime, or facing a natural disaster can leave a family struggling to meet basic needs.

These grants are intended to provide temporary relief during difficult circumstances.

**Assistance may help cover:**
- Housing expenses
- Utilities
- Food and basic necessities
- Childcare
- Transportation

**Who may qualify?**

Applicants must live in **Goshen County**, demonstrate financial need, and be experiencing a hardship resulting from a crisis, crime, disaster, or other significant circumstances. Documentation of financial need and hardship will be required.

**This opportunity is open to everyone in Goshen County experiencing a qualifying hardship.**

You do **not** need to be an existing WYO HELP client or meet the eligibility requirements for any other WYO HELP program to be considered.

**Current WYO HELP clients will not receive preference or priority.** All applications will be considered based on the circumstances of the hardship, demonstrated financial need, and the potential impact of the assistance.

Our goal is to ensure this opportunity is available to anyone in our community who may need help, including individuals and families who have never sought assistance before.

**Applications must be submitted by October 28, 2026.**

💚👖 Greens for Jeans - Giving Back to our Community! 💵.

At St. Joseph’s Children’s Home, our staff believe in making a difference both within our walls and throughout the community!

Through our Greens for Jeans program, staff voluntarily donate from their paychecks each month to support local organizations and projects.

We were proud to recently present a donation to the Goshen County library contributing toward their $5000 donor matching pledge as they celebrate being named the 2026 Best Small Library in America! 🎉

Congratulations to our friends at the library, and a heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff for their continued generosity and commitment to our community! 💚
