Fight Night 3.0 is taking over Evergy Plaza this Saturday, and the energy is already building.

Topeka's own John "The Iron Man" Cantrell isn't mincing words. Earlier this week he said he's planning for "the most brutal knockout in Topeka history."

Whether you're a longtime boxing fan or just looking for an exciting night out, this is one of those events that brings the community together and keeps everyone on the edge of their seats.

And when the fights are over, the fun isn't. Head over to Iron Rail Brewing and The Pennant for the official after-party.

Karaoke Night is happening at Evergy Plaza and whether you're channeling your inner rock star or just coming to enjoy the show, it's always a fun night out.

Kids Hour runs from 6:30–7:30 PM, giving young performers a chance to take center stage before the evening gets rolling.

Calling all dog lovers — Doggie Date Night is being hosted by Shawnee County Parks + Recreation this Saturday at Evergy Plaza from 6–8 PM.

Bring the pups downtown for a fun community night with games, fountains, photo ops, pup cups, giveaways, and dog contests starting around 7 PM.

It’s the perfect excuse to get outside, meet other dog people, and enjoy a summer evening with your four-legged best friend.
