💙 Wednesday Meals with A Need We Feed! 💙

Another wonderful Wednesday of feeding our Ocean County neighbors! 🥪❤️

Last week’s meals were generously provided by Jersey Mike's Subs, and Charlie's Pizza Restaurant & Pub prepared 75 meals for our friends at Vetwork and OCC Helping Hands ! A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make last week’s deliveries possible!

🧊 A special thank-you to Fulfill ! Through their generous Capacity Building Grant, we were able to purchase 40 insulated coolers! These coolers will help our volunteers maintain safe meal temperatures during delivery, ensuring meals arrive fresh and ready to enjoy.

We’re incredibly grateful to Fulfill for strengthening our Weekly Meal Delivery Program and helping us continue to care for our Ocean County neighbors. 💙

From our meal providers to our dedicated volunteers and generous community partners, it takes a village, and we have the BEST one! 🥰

🍽️ 50 meals to Helping Hands Pantry at Ocean County College
🇺🇸 25 meals to VetWork
🏡 180 meals delivered to neighbors throughout Ocean County
🙌 14 volunteers packing, delivering, and keeping us running!

A big shout-out to Bubbakoo's Burritos on Route 37 West for preparing this week’s meals! 🌯

🌟 Grant Spotlight: ACME Foundation 🌟

We are incredibly grateful to the ACME Foundation for their generous grant supporting A Need We Feed’s Weekly Meal Delivery Program! 💙

This marks our third grant from the ACME Foundation, and our second this year! Their earlier grant supports weekly meals for Veterans through our partnership with Vetwork, while this latest gift will help provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals to all the neighbors we serve throughout Ocean County.

Each delivery brings more than a meal; it brings comfort, connection, and a reminder that someone cares.

Thank you, ACME Foundation, for your continued belief in our mission and for helping us care for our community, one meal at a time! 🍽️

What a busy Wednesday at A Need We Feed! 💚

We were thrilled to welcome firstenergyhome employees Bryan, Jill, Sharon, Larry and Samantha, who jumped right in to help prepare meals for delivery!

We are especially grateful to the First Energy Foundation for their incredible grant money supporting our Weekly Meal Delivery Program! This generous contribution will make a meaningful difference in our ability to continue feeding our Ocean County neighbors. We cannot thank them enough for their generosity and support!

A big thank you to Wavershaks for their yummy meals rolls and Stop & Shop for the fresh apples!

A special thank you to Michelle Jones and The Flower Bar for the absolutely gorgeous bouquet presented to Kim, our October Volunteer of the Month! 💐 The flowers were such a beautiful way to celebrate someone who gives so much of her time and heart to our mission. Kim, we are so lucky to have you and appreciate all that you do! 💚

We also welcomed Rachel from OCC Helping Hands , picking up meals for OCC students, and Brian from Vetwork, collecting meals for our Veterans.

So many helping hands and so much to be thankful for! 💚
