Calling all clinician doctoral trainees!

Certified orthotists and prosthetists pursuing doctoral education play an important role in advancing clinical practice and improving patient outcomes. These awards help clinician-researchers remain connected to the OP&P profession while completing their PhD programs.

Up to five ABC-certified CPOs, COs, CPs, or CPeds may receive up to $1,000 to support eligible expenses, including:

• Conference attendance
• Certification and licensure fees
• Professional membership dues
• Continuing education
• Other costs related to maintaining clinical credentials and professional engagement

Accepting Applications through November 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. CT.

Access to Practice Awards help O&P Assistants, Pedorthists, and O&P Technicians access national professional education, strengthen their skills, expand their networks, and bring new knowledge back to the patients and care teams they serve.

Each recipient may receive up to $2,000 toward eligible conference-related expenses. Recipients attending eligible AAOP, AOPA, or PFA national meetings may also receive complimentary registration through our generous partner organizations.

SPECIAL PROGRAM CLOSING SOON!

The Tamarack Mentored Pilot Orthotics Research Grant will provide $10,000 to support a focused research project that advances orthotic care.

This program supports residents, trainees, educators, and practicing clinicians as they complete a clinically relevant pilot project under the guidance of an experienced research mentor. Beyond funding, recipients benefit from structured mentorship, reviewer feedback, research experience, and the opportunity to generate preliminary data that can support future studies and larger funding opportunities.

📝Full proposals due: November 2

This special opportunity reflects Tamarack’s commitment to strengthening the evidence base in orthotics and investing in the clinicians and researchers who will shape the future of patient care.
