The key charters of Amra92 Foundation will be but not limited to:

1. Support and promote education in Bangladesh,

Amra92 Foundation is being founded to unite the alumni of the entering class of 1992-1993 session of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), with a mission to help charitable and humanitarian activities locally and internationally. Amra92 Foundation will work towards supporting, conducting and financing non-partisan, non-religious, charitable, scientific, cultural, humanitarian, and educational activities in North America and Bangladesh. Improve the cohesiveness among the alumni of the entering class of 1992-1993 session of the
BUET, by organizing social events, charity and doing social welfare work together,
2. Make basic health services available to the poor population of the rural areas in Bangladesh,
4. Support and finance different research projects for the sustainable development of Bangladesh,
5. Organize humanitarian activities in times of natural calamities in Bangladesh, USA or other
parts of the world,
6. Conduct and explore scopes of charitable endeavors through cultural, scientific, literary and
educational activities,
7. Promote Bangladeshi culture and heritage to second generation Bangladeshis born abroad,
8. Promote international understanding and good will, particularly between the people of the
USA and Bangladesh.

🌳 Green Bangladesh Tree Plantation Campaign 2026

Mid-Project Progress Update

A Joint Initiative of AMRA'92 Foundation & UPAI Foundation

Dear AMRA'92 Alumni,

Alhamdulillah, with your generous support and the dedicated collaboration of the UPAI Foundation, our Green Bangladesh Tree Plantation Campaign 2026 has successfully reached its halfway mark.

So far, 1316 saplings of 110 different varieties have been planted in 10 different locations across Bangladesh, covering diverse ecological regions and communities. The project is progressing according to plan, and plantation activities will continue in additional locations until all allocated funds are utilized.

Dear Amra92 Friends,
The passing of our friend Nasim Shahriar is a painful reminder that some of our classmates may be quietly struggling beyond our radar. For nearly two decades, Nasim remained disconnected from many of us. Let us not allow another friend to fade away in silence.
Please take a moment to reach out to classmates you have not heard from in years. They may be facing health, personal, or family challenges and may simply need a friend to reconnect with.
If you know of any Amra92 friend who has been out of touch or may need support, please inform us - Amra92 Foundation. The Foundation can take the necessary initiative to reconnect and provide assistance where possible.
Let Nasim's memory inspire us to find our lost friends, bring them back into our circle and remind them that the Amra92 family is always here for them.

Our dear friend, Md. Nasim Shahriar, passed away on August 2, 2026, following complications from a heart attack. He was admitted to Square Hospital, where he sadly passed away.
We are deeply saddened by his loss and mourn the passing of a dear friend. His kindness, warmth and friendship will always remain in our hearts.
May the Almighty grant him eternal peace and give his family strength and patience during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

🌿 An Exciting Milestone for AMRA'92 Foundation and UPAI Foundation! 🌿

Dear Alumni,

We are delighted to share some exciting news with our AMRA'92 family. Following the recent registration of UPAI Foundation as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States, AMRA'92 Foundation is proud to launch its first collaborative project with UPAI Foundation, led by our dear friend Islam Md Shahidul.

Our partnership begins with a meaningful initiative that reflects our shared commitment to environmental stewardship and community development: the Green Bangladesh Tree Plantation Campaign 2026.

Highlights of the Initiative:

✅ 25 dedicated volunteers have been mobilized across more than 18 districts, including Chattogram, Sylhet, Khulna, and many others.

✅ The plantation campaign will officially begin on July 31 and continue over the following weeks.

✅ The project will prioritize environmentally beneficial native tree species, particularly those that are becoming increasingly rare, along with selected fruit-bearing trees.

✅ Trees will be planted in schools, colleges, madrasas, roadsides, and other community spaces to maximize both environmental and social impact.

✅ As part of the initiative, saplings will be distributed among schoolchildren to encourage backyard planting and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for nature and environmental responsibility.

This collaboration marks the beginning of what we hope will be a long and impactful partnership between our two organizations. We look forward to sharing updates, photos, and videos from across the country as the campaign progresses.

We are thrilled to share some wonderful news!

Earlier this year, Amra92 Foundation received the Proud Partner Recognition Award from Projects for Humanity (P4H), recognizing our collaboration in delivering emergency relief and rehabilitation to flood-affected communities in Bangladesh. But honestly, this recognition belongs to every one of you who contributed, prayed, and stood with us in this journey. Together with P4H, your generosity reached thousands of people across Feni, Cumilla, Noakhali, and Lakshmipur, some of the hardest hit communities in the August 2024 floods.

Grateful to P4H for this incredible partnership, and even more grateful to our Amra92 family for making it all possible.

Hello Amra‑92 Alumni and Friends!

We’re so excited to share some fantastic news about our ongoing partnership with the Center for Humanity (CFH), a wonderful nonprofit based in the U.S. that’s making a real difference in the lives of underserved communities in Gaibandha, Bangladesh.

Thanks to your amazing support, we’ve just helped bring a brand-new digital X-ray machine to the CFH Healthcare and Diagnostic Center in Gaibandha! This was truly a team effort. CFH led the way, and Amra‑92 was proud to play a role in this initiative.

For the families in Gaibandha, this machine is so much more than just a piece of equipment; it’s a lifeline to timely diagnoses, better treatment, and a brighter future filled with healthier lives.

We couldn’t have done this without every one of you. Your contributions, prayers, and encouraging words have brought us to this amazing moment, and we’re so grateful to have you on this journey with us!

Dear Amra‑92 Alumni & Friends,

We are pleased to share a brief update on our ongoing collaboration with the Sonar Bangla Foundation (SBF), an initiative aimed at expanding access to life‑saving kidney dialysis treatment across Bangladesh.

Thanks to your continued support, Amra‑92 Foundation contributed to a project that directly addresses one of the country’s most urgent healthcare challenges. The foundation sponsored a dialysis machine in SBF's Chittagong Center in December, 2024. Since then this dialysis machine served hundreds and thousands of patients and it will continue to do so over its lifetime ensuring long‑term community impact.

Thank you for being part of this meaningful effort to save lives and strengthen healthcare systems in Bangladesh.
