This week on Road to Hope Radio with host David Maulsby

David sits down with two warriors who know all about the fight that comes after the fight.

Jeremy, a member of our staff and a Veteran of six deployments, now walks alongside the men who come through our doors.

Allen, a United States Marine, was deployed to Iraq twice, in 2007 and 2008, for six months each. When he came home, and the structure of the Corps was gone, isolation moved in. For 17 years, he tried to quiet the weight of war with alcohol. This August, Allen arrived at Camp Hope.

Tune in to hear Allen's story, where he is today, and why no warrior has to carry PTSD alone. There is hope on the other side.

Four men. Four stories. One brotherhood.

Some graduations at Camp Hope are remembered for their size. Others are remembered for their impact.

In September, we celebrated four Veterans completing their journey at the PTSD Foundation of America | Camp Hope. A smaller class meant deeper relationships, more meaningful conversations, and a brotherhood built on showing up for each other through the hard days and the victories.

Each of these men came carrying their own battles. Along the way, they learned to trust, to open up, to hold themselves accountable, and to know they never have to fight alone.

Four Veterans who chose to keep fighting. Four families who get to watch their loved ones continue healing. Four futures that once seemed out of reach. This mission has never been about numbers. It’s about lives.

Congratulations to our September 2026 graduates. Keep fighting forward.

Last month, Melissa Porter and Sarah Holland represented the PTSD Foundation of America on a panel at the VA Mental Health Summit alongside the VA, NAMI, Easter Seals, and UT Health. 🇺🇸

They spoke about the impact PTSD has on female veterans and on the children and loved ones who support them. They also shared how many veterans feel disconnected when they return home, and why wraparound services that care for the whole veteran and the whole family are so important.

It was an honor to share how our faith-based, peer-to-peer interim housing program helps veterans find healing and hope. When we work together, more veterans and families get connected to the support they need.

Thank you to the VA for hosting and to our fellow panelists for everything you do for those who served. 🙏
