A major step forward for Florida’s coast.

With a new law taking effect July 1, living shoreline projects in Florida will have a clearer path through permitting, helping more restoration and resilience work move forward when it is needed most.

Over a year and a half of data in, and our Palm Bay Reef Arches project is exceeding expectations.

We’re seeing real sediment stability, measurable wave attenuation, and the shoreline dunes have completely stopped eroding.

Florida’s reefs are collapsing but structure gives life back to the ocean. 🐠

Once thriving with elkhorn and staghorn corals, Florida’s reefs are now “functionally extinct.” Decades of warming seas, pollution, and disease have erased the complex coral structures that once supported entire ecosystems.

Without structure, life disappears. Reef Arches are built to change that. Our living shoreline technology mimics natural reef formations, creating critical habitat, buffering waves, and giving marine life a place to call home.

By rebuilding the foundation of the reef, we restore balance. Structure means protection.
