North Brevard Charities & Thrift Store We offer emergency assistance, affordable housing programs, and community outreach.

We're committed to strengthening families and individuals in crisis by providing compassionate support, meeting basic needs, and creating pathways to self-sufficiency. Our programs include emergency financial assistance for utilities, rent, deposits, purchase of some prescription medication, and dental treatment. We maintain and operate a food pantry five days a week for qualified applicants. Our

supportive housing may assist families and individuals in the North Brevard area for a period of time when they are in a crisis.

It takes a village — and ours shows up beautifully! We're so grateful for the community surrounding our resident garden. 🌱 Joann from Cocoa Florida Latter-day Saints stopped by to visit with Neil, our dedicated garden caretaker, and the connection was just as nourishing as the garden itself.

Our container gardens are flourishing thanks to Seeds & Supplies generously donated by local families through the Latter-day Saints' Giving Machine Florida this past holiday season — kindness that truly keeps on growing.

And the surprises keep coming — a thoughtful neighbor donated several Blue Java banana plants to the garden. 🍌 We can't wait to watch those beauties thrive!

Tomorrow, a wonderful group of volunteers will be here to tackle the never-ending (but always worth it!) cleanup of debris from our surrounding pine and palm trees.

This garden grows because of you! Thank you to every hand, heart, and seed that makes it possible. 💚

From bare walls to a place that truly feels like home. 🏡✨

We're so grateful to the amazing Church in the City volunteers who've poured their hearts into transforming one of our transitional houses. What was once a dorm-style suite is now a warm, welcoming space.

Following their labor-intensive work in January — where they tackled larger maintenance concerns and cleared away debris — this time they brought in the finishing touches.

Bright paint, cozy furniture and thoughtful décor, soft touches for the bathrooms, warmth for the living spaces, and life in the kitchen. They built a playroom where kids can just be kids. And they added new plantings outdoors.

Thank you, volunteers! Every detail you added says to the families who walk through our doors: You matter. You belong here. This is home.
