Six girls from Baltimore. One week at Bucknell University College of Engineering camp. A campus that was no longer just a photo in a brochure. It was where they ate breakfast, walked to class, and stayed up too late talking in the dorms.

Bucknell taught them about engineering. The experience taught them how it feels to belong somewhere like this.

Western High School grad Ty-Zjehah is on her way to the Community College of Baltimore County to pursue a career in dental hygiene and she didn't get here alone. Her mentor Anastasia has cheered her on for six years, connecting Ty-Zjehah to resources and opportunities like Black Girls Vote and the Pharmacy Camp at NDMU that have truly expanded her world. This is what mentorship looks like. 🎓
