Northwest Fencing Center (“NWFC”), officially known as The Salle Auriol Fencing Club, is recognized in the US, and indeed in many countries of the world, for the quality of its coaches, its world-class facility, and its fencers. In fact, Portland today is recognized as one of the best places to fence in all of the US and, increasingly, individuals and teams from around the world come to Portland t

o train. Paradoxically, NWFC’s history, and its impact on the world of fencing is not well known. Our story begins in the 1960s. We welcome all levels of athletes ages 7 & up. We also have a wheelchair program.

Homeschool Fencing Class is back! 🤺
Registration is officially open, and our first session kicks off next week on 9/3. Join us Thursdays from 10:30–12 for a class that builds physical development, confidence, and fun. Afterward, fencers are welcome to bring lunch and hang out for board games and social time. It’s a great way to learn, move, and make friends. Thank you Coach Gregory for bringing this together!

September is almost here, which means it’s time to register for classes and private lessons!
Our new portal is live—everyone will need to log in, review their account, and add a payment method.

If you don’t receive scholarships or financial aid, be sure to add your packages to the cart and Check Out. And if you do receive a scholarship or financial aid, you still need to log in, review the account details, add a payment method, then contact the front desk to let us know which packages you would like.

Going forward, classes and lessons will be automatically billed on the 1st of each month. Easy peasy.
