UCAP - Stone Cottage Free Store The UCAP office is at 320 N. Main inside the First Presbyterian Church...entrance is on the south side of the building off of Main Street. and noon.

The Stone Cottage Free Store is located at the corner of Bennett & West streets. The Stone Cottage Free Store was founded to assist people with getting daily household items and clothing. We accept donations by appointment during our hours of operation. Call (269) 535-2786 on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 9 a.m.

...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON EDT TO 8 PM EDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values up to around 100 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan (including St. Joseph County), and northwest Ohio.

* WHEN...From noon EDT /11 AM CDT/ to 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

The Stone Cottage Free Store will be closed Wednesday 7/1 AND Friday 7/3 due to the extreme hot weather. Sorry for the inconvenience. We will reopen next Monday. Everyone please stay safe.
