Howdy folks, Bobby Joe here.

We here at the American Legion Post #413 & the Live Oak County American Legion Auxiliary Unit 413 are humbly asking for donations for our member Dale Burrell. Dale lost everything in a house fire on March 15, 2026, in the late evening.

We are looking for anything that can be donated...ie....clothing, food, money or anything that can help him.

**WHAT IS A VETERAN?**

A "VETERAN" whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America," for an amount of "up to, and including his life." That is an honor. And there are way too many people in this country today, who no longer understand that fact. 🇺🇸

**ATTENTION** **VETERAN'S DAY RAFFLE**

Howdy folks! Bobby Joe here! I just wanted to let everyone know that we will be selling raffle & lunch plate tickets up until our event tomorrow. Lunch Plate tickets can be purchased ahead of time or as you come in. Raffle tickets can be purchased ahead of time, or up until 30 minutes before the raffle at noon to allow us time to get them sorted and into our tumbler and mixed.

Thank you to the numerous amount of people that have purchased tickets so far and thank you to the donors of all of our amazing ticket items.

Good morning followers & Legion Hall members.....It's that time of the year again and we are selling raffle tickets for our Veteran's Day Raffle and Noon Lunch Plate tickets.
Again, this year we want to thank all of the businesses and individuals that have donated items for this raffle. Without each and every one of you, this would not be possible. We are truly blessed to have the support of our local communities.
We have 42 items this year, up for grabs! So don't hesitate to reach out to any Legioneer or Live Oak County American Legion Auxiliary Unit 413 member for a chance to win one or more of these awesome prizes! Tickets are $10 each or 6 tickets for $50! WOW!!!
