The Clovis Ray Scholarship

Congratulations to Kourtney Zamzow, Caden Soliz, Kendal Kopplin, and Daniel Diaz who were awarded the 2024 Clovis Ray Scholarship at the TR sports banquet last week.

While it was difficult to select just a few winners from the many scholarship applications, these four these students set themselves apart. They are all accomplished athletes who have maintained high grades while consistently contributing to their communities.

Congratulations to high school seniors Jacob Amaro and Jace Ruiz for being awarded the 2023 Clovis T. Ray Scholarship. In the fall, Jacob is pursuing a degree in business and Jace is going to study Industrial Engineering. Thank you everyone for your support and donations in Clovis’ memory!

This year marks the tenth anniversary of Clovis’ death in Afghanistan and to honor his memory we decided to award eight scholarships rather than the normal two or three. Congratulations to the 2022 winners of the Clovis T. Ray scholarship:

Congratulations to our 2021 Clovis T. Ray Scholarship winners! We had a tough time selecting just two but finally decided on Larysa Fuentes and Gabriella Hiraldo. They both excel academically, are incredible athletes and are well known and liked in the community.

Larysa is heading off to Texas State University to study pre-med and Gabriella is going to Concordia University in Irvine to achieve her goal of becoming an aquatic veterinarian.

We are honored to support them in achieving their goals. Well done Gabriella and Larysa!

It’s been a rough year for students across the world and we were thrilled to be able to end the school year by presenting these three with well-deserved scholarships.
