Some individuals leave a lasting mark on a community through their dedication, leadership, and service.

Former Thomson City Councilwoman Bernice Brown devoted countless years to serving the citizens of Thomson and advocating for the Pitt Street community. Soon, that legacy will be permanently recognized through the dedication and renaming of Pitt Street Park in her honor.

Join us at the Bernice Brown Park Signage Reveal as we celebrate her contributions and the positive impact she continues to have on generations of residents.

Did you catch Chamber President & CEO Kenya Calhoun on The Morning Mix?

Kenya recently joined the program to share updates on several exciting projects and events happening throughout our community, including Freedom Blast , commemorative military bricks, the Blind Willie McTell Amphitheater, and other initiatives designed to celebrate and strengthen McDuffie County.

We're grateful for opportunities like these to showcase the great things happening in our community and to keep residents informed and engaged.

A special thank you to The Morning Mix for welcoming us and helping spread the word about the events, programs, and projects that make Thomson and McDuffie County such a great place to live, work, and do business.

Be sure to follow the Chamber for the latest updates on upcoming events and community initiatives!
